Furthermore, TCB supports corporate social responsibility programs, as for example the "Océano sostenible" association, which focuses on the protection of the marine reserve of Adeje. Furthermore, the TBC colaborates with the Office of Environmental Participation and Volunteers of the council of Tenerife, whose aim it is to contribute to the conservation of the environmental friendly waste removal, the recovert of pathways, the reforestation, and the eradication of endangered species etc.

Regarding the protection of cultural values, TBC established a guidebook explaining how to organise congresses in a sustainable way in Tenerife, including information about the usage of local products as wine and typical food, the proper disposal of material used and policies about the usage of sustainable energies etc.

La Laguna

La-Laguna-freeLocated in the north of Tenerife, one can find San Cristóbal de la Laguna, World Heritage Site and home to the University of La Laguna which is home to 30,000 students. In 2010 after a survey, La Laguna was declared as the city with the best reputation in the Canary Islands and the third no provincial capital city of Spain with the best reputation, right behind Gijon and Marbella.

When coming to Tenerife it's nearly obligatory to visit La Laguna. The city does not just offer a great deal of interesting stuff for the ones who like culture and want to learn something about the background of this historical city, it also offers a great variety of local food and beverages.
